Self-generation Achieve system
The supply and transfer of knowledge in contemporary life informed much of the Takeout Drawing project in Seongbuk-dong- in which a collaborative project with New-Zealand artist Andre Hemmer yielded a visual archive of Seongbuk sourced from first-hand ‘offline’ photograph images, and second-hand ‘online’ images taken from the internet search engine Google.
using cropped photo images and color sampled directly from the images found in the 1.44mb Archive Machine We was able to assemble a color palette and installed flat photography which could feed back into our own art processes.
