나(裸)대지 도큐멘트 2017
나대지*는 도시의 틀이 벗겨진 땅이다. 이곳은 자연과 인공사이에서, 도시의 생성과 소멸이 드러내는 땅의 감각을 전하고 있다. 작업은 복잡한 도시 이권의 층위에서만 존재 가능한 빈땅에 주목하고, 그것이 드러내는 원초적 행성 감각의 순간들을 영상 기록으로 보여준다. 기록물은 온라인 이동의 방향성을 결정하는 마우스 스크롤 작동 방식으로 Z축을 움직이며 벌거벗은 땅과, 그것과 연결된 주변 관계를 보여주고 있다. 신도시 개발중인 경기도 시흥 배곧 신도시 건설지, 바르셀로나 이노베이션시티 건설지,경기도 용인 일대의 전원 주택 분양지등 정부와 기업 주도의 기획 건설지, 중심 도시가 되고 싶은 욕망의 도시 변두리 지역등 개발 사이에서 용도 불명의 시간을 보내는 벗겨진 땅_행성의 파편들을 수집하였다.
“Nadaeji” is a land where the framework of the city has been stripped away. It conveys the sense of the planet that emerges between nature and artificiality, and the creation and destruction of the city. The work focuses on the empty lands that exist only in the complex stratification of urban power, and shows moments of primordial planetary sensation revealed by them through video recordings. The recorded materials move in the Z-axis by scrolling the mouse, showing the naked land and its surrounding relationships. The collected fragments of the planet are from various sites such as the construction sites of the new city of Bae-got in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, Barcelona Innovation City, the planned construction sites led by the government and corporations in the countryside of Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, and the outskirts of cities where there is a desire to become a central city, spending an undefined time in development.
